Free Paget's Information Events

Southampton and Liverpool

You are invited to come along to an educational event organised by a Centre of Excellence. Typically these events include topics such as causes, treatment, research of Paget's disease of Bone, as well as patient experience and will include the presentation of the Paget's Association Centre of Excellence award by Professor Roger Francis. To find out more about the Centres of Excellence, please follow this link.


Paget's Information Meeting: Friday 27th April 2018 

The Department of Clinical Biochemistry and Metabolic Medicine (DCBMM) at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals Trust, together with the Bone Group, Institute of Ageing and Chronic Disease (IACD), University of Liverpool, have been awarded Centre of Excellence status by the Paget’s Association. 

Director of the centre, Dr Anna Daroszewska, is arranging a meeting for patients and their family/carers, which will take place together with the presentation of the Paget's Association Centre of Excellence Award, at the Foresight Centre, University of Liverpool, 1 Brownlow Street, Liverpool, L69 3GL. The event will take place in the afternoon of Friday 27th April and lunch will be provided prior to the event. Paget's Information Meeting: Thursday 31st May 2018

Together with Cyrus Cooper, Professor of Rheumatology, Professors Elaine Dennison and Nicholas Harvey run the metabolic bone service at the University Hospitals Trust in Southampton. 

A meeting for Paget’s patients together with the presentation of the Paget's Association Centre of Excellence award will be held at the Medical Research Council Lifecourse Epidemiology Unit, Southampton General Hospital in the afternoon of Thursday 31st May 2018.
