Join us live online - at 2pm on the 11th January

On the first-ever Paget’s Awareness Day, the Paget’s Association is asking you to join them online for a live Paget's Information meeting (webinar). This free event can be viewed on your computer, tablet or phone as it happens at 2pm on the 11th January 2019. There will also be an opportunity to ask the experts questions from the comfort of your home! The event will be chaired by Professor Roger Francis and streamed live from the James Paget University Hospital in Great Yarmouth. DETAILS OF HOW TO WATCH THE MEETING ONLINE WILL BE POSTED HERE IN DUE COURSE.

COME FOR LUNCH - If you live locally, you can also come along for lunch at 1pm on the 11th January, at the Burrage Centre, in the James Paget Hospital, Lowestoft Road, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk NR31 6LA. Lunch will be followed by the hour-long meeting and then there will be time for informal discussion.

The launch of the New Paget's Guideline
Professor Mike Stone will be joining us at the above meeting to launch the newly published clinical Guideline for the ‘Diagnosis and Management of Paget’s Disease of Bone in Adults’. The Guideline was commissioned by the Paget’s Association. It is based on all currently available evidence, has been written by a group of international experts in the field, with patient involvement, and has been endorsed by several major international organisations with an interest in Paget’s disease. The full programme for the event will be available here shortly.

What's it all about?

The Paget’s Association has declared the 11th January to be International Paget’s Awareness Day. The 11th January 2019 will, therefore, see the first ever Paget’s Day to raise the profile of Paget’s disease, both throughout the UK and internationally. We would like everyone to get involved. There are many ways that you can take part and help raise awareness. Watch this short video to find out more about the Paget's Awareness Day, then scroll down for details of events, a competition and much more!

In addition to our live online event mentioned above, which everyone can take part in, Paget's Information events are taking place in hospitals in Great Yarmouth, Edinburgh, Salford and Manchester. Contact us to find out more or check back here for details when they are available.
