New Paget's Guideline
A new clinical Guideline is being developed for the diagnosis and management of Paget’s Disease of Bone in adults. Commissioned by the Paget's Association, the collaboration includes the European Calcified Tissue Society (ECTS) and the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) who, along with the Paget’s Association, have contributed funds to the project.
The Guideline has now been submitted for publication. We will provide full details here when they are available.
The launch of the New Guideline
To launch the Guideline, Professor Mike Stone joined us at a webinar (online meeting) on the first-ever Paget’s Awareness Day, the 11th January 2019. Details are available by following this link.
Information regarding new Guideline will be provided in our newsletter (register here to receive the 'Paget's News'). Please return to this webpage for further details soon.
In June 2018, professionals were given the opportunity to discuss the proposed new Guideline. Sir Henry Paget, Patron of the Paget's Association and great great grandson of Sir James Paget, after whom Paget's disease was named, opened the session at the 8th International Workshop on Advances in the Molecular Pharmacology and Therapeutics of Bone and other Musculoskeletal Diseases (also known as MolPharm), which took place in Oxford.
