A new clinical Guideline is being developed for the diagnosis and management of Paget’s Disease of Bone in adults. Commissioned by the Paget's Association, the collaboration includes the European Calcified Tissue Society (ECTS) and the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) who, along with the Paget’s Association, have contributed funds to the project.
In June 2018, professionals were given the opportunity to discuss the proposed new Guideline. Sir Henry Paget, Patron of the Paget's Association and great great grandson of Sir James Paget, after whom Paget's disease was named, opened the session at the 8th International Workshop on Advances in the Molecular Pharmacology and Therapeutics of Bone and other Musculoskeletal Diseases (also known as MolPharm), which took place in Oxford.

When the Guideline has been published we will provide full details here.
In due course, for members of the Paget's Association, a summary of the new Guideline will be provided in our newsletter (register here to receive the 'Paget's News'). Further information will also be on this website in due course. (Photos below - The Oxford Conference and Sir Henry Paget)
