Terms and Conditions for the use of The Paget’s Association Remembrance Garden

We ask that you take the time to read the terms of conditions for using The Paget’s Association Remembrance Garden which are set out below and are designed to be easy to understand, fair and reasonable. We would appreciate your understanding that because of the nature of setting up an online memorial that may be intended for perpetual public access, we must have clear conditions regarding authority, content and privacy in particular. When you create a tribute you are agreeing to be bound by these rules and so if you have any queries whatsoever, please contact us at director@paget.org.uk

Consent
If you are not the next of kin would you, as a courtesy, please ensure that you have their authority to create your tribute. If you are under the age of 18 you must have the consent of a parent or guardian in order to use this service.

Use of the Remembrance Garden
The objective of the Remembrance Garden is purely for personal use to enable people to create loving and appropriate tributes for loved ones who have died, it is not to be used for commercial purposes in any way.

Material Content
Any material that may be viewed as illegal, obscene, racist, offensive, immoral or defamatory may be removed by The Paget’s Association at its sole discretion and this may include the shutting down of the site without notice or recompense.

The Paget’s Association will endeavour to prevent any material that may reasonably cause offence and so the above list for removals is not exclusive. If it is felt to be in the best interests of our users and/or a complainant to remove any site (or part content) this will be done at the sole discretion of The Paget’s Association without notice or recompense.

Copyright
All Intellectual Property relating to the website is owned by the Paget’s Association. Any re-publication of any part of the website or the Paget’s Association logo(s) is not allowed without express written permission.

Ongoing Website Storage
Information collected is stored in a format suitable for future online display but please note that resolutions of stored images may not be appropriate for subsequent hard copy printing.

Privacy
The Paget’s Association does not and will not share or pass on any information collected to any other organisation apart from appointed agents and any relevant charity associate, where you have specifically agreed to this. In order to improve the service.

Liability
As the Tribute Guardian, you remain responsible for the content of your site. The Paget’s Association is not responsible in any way for this content notwithstanding its authority to remove any inappropriate content at its own discretion.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you also recognise that you should retain your own independent storage of all information submitted to your tribute site. Whilst we try to take reasonable precautions to protect and store your information, The Paget’s Association can not be held responsible for any loss or damage, including temporary or permanent loss of access. As part of the contract you agree that The Paget’s Association (its employees, volunteers, trustees or anyone connected with the organisation) is not, nor ever will be, liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the service for any reason. You also agree to indemnify The Paget’s Association for any direct or indirect damages claims now or in the future.

Right to amend terms and Governing Law
The Paget’s Association reserves the right to update these terms and conditions and all users will remain bound by the amended terms which are governed by UK laws.
