Sir Julian Paget Student Research Bursary 2017

The Paget’s Association, together with the Paget family are pleased to announce the Sir Julian Paget Student Research Bursary. This is in recognition of the tremendous support given by the late Sir Julian Paget, during his time as Patron of the Paget’s Association. The £6,000 Student Research Bursary is given to encourage a promising UK medical or science student to pursue research into any aspect of Paget’s Disease of Bone.
The Association will provide a stipend to the recipient of the student award to participate in research under the guidance of an Association Member to allow the student to study towards an MRes, MSc, BSc or equivalent higher degree in the 2017 to 2018 academic calendar. The recipient will be invited to attend the Association’s Annual General Meeting to receive the award.

Application Requirements

1. Sumgraham-and-sir-julianmary of the research project, jointly prepared by mentor and student including student’s role in the research project (1000 words maximum)
2. Mentor statement which includes the mentors role in the research project including his/her plans for research training
3. Students CV (mailing address and contact details must be included)
