This programme is aimed at nurses, junior doctors and allied health professionals who wish to increase their knowledge base and experience of Paget’s Disease of Bone. Because of the hands on nature of this event places will be strictly limited so please book early to avoid disappointment

Provisional Programme

09.30 – 10.00 Registration

10.00 – 11.00 Lecture: Overview of Paget’s Disease

11.00 – 13.00 Workshops:

Group 1 – Interactive cases (5 groups of 5)

Each participant interviews a current Nottingham patient for 5 minutes and leads discussion with the other four group participants and one of the course organisers (10 minutes). Each group of five rotates to a new case illustrating a different aspect of Paget’s disease every 20 minutes. This will be easy and not at all threatening.

Groups 2 – X Rays – Problem solving

A mixture of X-rays and clinical problems with one course organiser to supervise and review diagnoses.

13.00 – 14.00 LUNCH

14.00 – 16.00 Workshops: Groups 1 and 2 will reverse
