The main aims of the charity are to:
- Offer support and information to those with Paget’s
disease
- Raise awareness of the disease among health professionals
and the general public
- Sponsor research into the causes and treatment
of Paget’s disease
The charity was founded in 1973 by Anne Stansfield
MBE, who was driven by a lack of understanding and interest
in the treatment of her husband who had Paget’s
disease.
Patrons of the charity are The Lord Stamp Lt., Colonel
Sir Julian Paget and Mr Henry Paget.
Dr David Hosking is Chairman of the Board of Trustees
which comprises health professionals and lay persons.
